The Dining Room

Eating involves all our senses, even our eyes. That was the thought behind the renovation of our dining room in 2017 which now has a long-term and sustainable theme. We want to serve good food in a welcoming and familiar restaurant that makes you feel comfortable.

The materials are nature-inspired such as wood, marble and brass. These materials are familiar to the rest of the building and feel warm and welcoming. All this so that you, alone or with company, will feel comfortable and welcome.

Our menu reflects our ambition and commitment to our restaurant. Sustainability is important to us and we are proud to be a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled restaurant in Umeå. To live up to our own high standards, our menu is based on food made with high quality and fresh ingredients and prepared without taking any shortcuts.

The Bar

Relaxed environment, good drinks and proud bartenders. You’ll always have a good time at Umeå’s most central bar. The evening’s drinks are mixed in your glass, the pleasant music comes through the speakers at the perfect volume so you can actually hear what you are saying and every order is served with great care.

Our bartenders are skilled artisans that always have good tips for those who want to try something new. We are the first restaurant in Umeå to offer beer and food pairing. Our beer sommeliers can help you find the right choice in our large beer fridge that contains around 25 different types of beer from which the bottles are changed out regularly.

The Kitchen

Mushrooms and berries from the forests of Västerbotten, fresh fish from the waters in northern Sweden and the meat from Swedish farms. It is important for us to support our local producers by using ingredients grown locally whenever we can. Our priority order is local, regional, northern and Swedish.

We strive continuously to create a well-balanced menu that has something for everyone made with ingredients that our guests can relate to. We don’t complicate things. We just make real food from scratch and without taking any shortcuts.

We try to always challenge ourselves every time we change our menu. Me and my team always work together to find new taste combinations and cooking methods. The most important thing for us is cooking good food that we have carefully taste-tested and that our guests like.

And you know, it’s a fantastic feeling to get to work with what you are passionate about.

Banquet Room

A banquet room with all the possibilities in the middle of the city. Neighboring Umeå’s central bus hub and five minutes from the train station, it is the perfect spot to be invited to for parties and events. We have the space needed for bigger groups that want to eat and mingle.

Our premises upstairs are a perfect fit for client meetings, breakfast meetings, office parties, birthday parties, etc. After 30 years we have become experts at event planning and will gladly help you from start to finish.
